SWIMMERS

muscle bear bodybuilder swimming Swimmers on this page are pretty short and stubby. That's why you see the "short stop" warning below.  They also don't weigh very much since they have no bodyfat from constantly exercising. One model, Lance, was shot by me in my hot tub in Hollywood.  Some of these men are professional Italian swimmers, others are just guys in water. Lilke the unidentified muscle bear at left.

Marco Orsi (born 1990) is a 6'1" (1.85m) Italian swimmer. He won three gold medals with the Italian relay team at the Euro Shourt Course Swimming Championships.  In 2012 he qualified for his first Olympid appearance in London 2012.

Gregorio Paltrinieri (born 1994) is an Italian swimmer who won the gold medal in the 500 m freestyle event at 2012 FINA World Swimming Championships (25 m) and 2012 European Aquatics Championships. Paltrinieri started swimming at a very young age, and until the age of 12 he specialized in breaststroke. However, as he grew, he converted to freestyle, specializing in the longer pool distances.

His first international success came as a 16-year-old at the 2011 European Junior Swimming Championships in Belgrade, where he won the 500 meters gold and an 800 meters bronze. Having qualified for the World championships in Shanghai, he did not progress further than the heats, but a few weeks later at the World Junior Championships in Lima, Peru, he was back on the podium with a 500 meters freestyle silver and an 800 meters bronze.

short stop signIn March 2012 Paltrinieri won the Italian 800 meters freestyle title, and two months later, he left everyone in his wake at the European Championships in Debrecen, defeating renowned Hungarians Gergő Kis and Gergely Gyurta in the 500m. His impressive time of 4:48.92 more than qualified him for the Olympics – at the time it was the year’s second-fastest 500m swim, and it broke the championship record. He is trained by Stefano Morini. At 2012 Summer Olympics, the 17-year-old Italian advanced to his first Olympic final with the 4th time of 4:50. In the final he finished 5th in 4:5.92.

Fabio Scozzoli is another Italian swimmer. Born in 1988, on July 25, 2010 he won the silver medal at the World Championships in Shanghai in the 00 m breaststroke beaten by Alexander Dale Oen and in front of Cameron van der Burgh, also establishing two Italians records: the semi-final with 59"83 in the final with 59"42. On 27 July 20 has also won the silver medal in the 50m breaststroke, behind Brazilian Felipe França Silva and always before Cameron van der Burgh, also establishing the Italian record with 27"7. On December 3, 202 Scozzoli became the first Italian swimmer ever to win a gold medal in a World Swimming Championships (25m) competition winning on Men's 100 meter breaststroke at Istanbul 2012.

MARCO ORSI INTERVIEW
Swimmer Marco Orso is interviewed by a guy who apparently does not know that sitting in the shadows makes for terrible lighting.
