Flula Borg (born 1982) is a 6'4" (1.93m) German DJ, engineer, musician, actor, and
YouTube personality. A YouTube personality is someone who makes
videos about opening product boxes or playing video games. Fortunately Flula's videos have a lot more effort in them.
Plus he falls out of his clothes a lot. He currently lives in
Los Angeles, California. Borg appeared in the film Pitch Perfect 2 in
2015 and also has roles in upcoming feature films. He has collaborated
with many well-known YouTubers, many of whom are complete no talents.
Their sophomoric humor is not for everyone but Flula's cute shtick is
Einstein level comedy by comparison. Flula regularly posts videos on YouTube and his channel has amassed over 780,000 subscribers and 86 million total views since its launch in 2007. Some of his most popular videos are his vlogs, most notably "Jennifer is a Party Pooper", and his AutoTunes series, in which he records cover songs live in a car. His AutoTunes video with YouTube celebrity Chester See, a cover of "No Diggity" by Blackstreet, has over three million views and was nominated for a Streamy Award in 2014. Also in 2014, Flula's YouTube channel was listed on New Media Rockstars' Top 100 Channels, ranked at #69. Flula won the 2015 Streamy Award for Comedy in recognition of his humorous contributions on YouTube. From his beginnings as a Schuhplattler dancer in Germany, through many years of live performances, and since 2007 on his YouTube channel, music has always been an important part of Flula's career. After releasing his single "Sweet Potato Casserole" in 2011, he was listed at #3 on Billboard's Next Big Sound chart, while "Dirk Nowitzki, German Moses" coincided with the Dallas Mavericks' championship run in 2011 and was picked up by ESPN and other mainstream outlets. In 2014 he composed the theme song for Grace Helbig's podcast, Not Too Deep, and starred in Rhett and Link's "It's My Belly Button" music video. In 2015 he was chosen to create the theme song for The Grace Helbig Show on E! Entertainment Television. Also in 2015 Flula released a five-track EP titled I Want To Touch You. Videos for all five songs were posted to his YouTube channel. In early 2016, he released a full-length album called Animalbum that was produced by comedian and producer of The Bachelor, Elan Gale. All songs on the album are related to animals, both real and mythological, and all proceeds will be donated to Wags and Walks, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization that rescues dogs from shelters and places them in suitable homes. In 2016 Flula has popped up on Conan O'brien's talk show, NFL shows and @Midnight on Comedy Central.

CONAN O'BRIEN & FLULA BORG VISIT NUDE BEACH |
American talk show host Conan O'Brien and Germany comic Flula
Borg visit a nude beach in Deutschland. Unfortunately not
all German's are as handsome, fit and body conscious as Flula!
Fortunately for us the tall Teuton is falling out of his clothes
again! Conan is not slouch in the height department himself at
6'4" (1.93m).
Conan and Flula did a cross promotion for a trip Conan took to Germany in 2016. It looks like Flula hit the weights heavy for weeks to bulk up for the event. |
GERMAN DJ/COMIC FLULA BORG SINGS IN OPEN FIELD
German DJ Flula Borg is also a comedian. And an
exhibitionist. Why else would he be singing in an open field
wearing only shoes? In other videos he performs the music
from "Game of Thrones" in a public restroom, sings a rap cover in
the shower, and performs mixes in his car while driving through
Los Angeles. Safety first Flula! I first saw Flula on the
Comedy Central late night show "@Midnight." Now he has a
gallery right here on my site. Careful viewers will notice
Flula is wearing a fanny pack. Why? Flula says "It is True,
Boots are on Foots, and Fanny Pack is on Fanny, but for the Good
Reasoning: 1) Boots are keeping Foot with fewer Mud; und 2) Fanny
Pack is for Preventing Polizei Arresting. "
Flula needs to be careful with his comedy career and his bodybuilding. If you get too buff audiences won't laugh at your jokes because they are too jealous or intimidated. |
