From his website Rob discusses how he got involved in WWE Vince McMahon's wrestling conglomerate "It was great news to find out that I had been successful, and that WWE wanted me for their development school in Tampa Florida to be trained up as a pro wrestler. I felt it was a great privilege for me to have been accepted to the FCW Development School with no previous wrestling experience. A few months later, my wife Sarah and I moved out to St Petersburg Florida, where I started my training. The FCW is the official training facility for the WWE. After my training with the FCW Development School finished, I was introduced to a much respected and well known Wrestling Tag Team called "The Dudley Boys", Bubba and Devon. They are established in WWE and currently wrestle for TNA. They also have a training school in Kissimmee, Florida called "Team 3D Academy". I felt that this was a great move forward for me, as they could really help me build on my experience and give me the development I needed to progress as a pro wrestling industry. Later down the line I had my first try out with TNA wrestling. I was asked back on several occasions while I continued training at the Team 3D Wresting Academy. This in itself was a great experience for me. It gave me a first hand opportunity to see what goes on back stage and how the TNA organization is run. In addition, it also gave me the chance to speak too many of the top superstars in TNA, where I gained some valuable knowledge and advice Then I was given the news that I had been accepted by TNA wrestling. I am really looking forward to this great opportunity as I am due to make my debut later this month, where I plan to cause mayhem in the six sided ring. TNA wrestling can be viewed internationally on Spike TV in the USA and the Bravo Network in the UK. |
