235 lb. Josh Boultinhouse was chosen the "Official Superman" at the 2008
Superman Celebration in Metrolpolis, IL. Pictures of him in costume from the
event are below. Not much else is known about him.
According to his
website "Josh was born and raised in Richardson, Texas. Ever since he was five
years old, he dreamed of becoming an actor. As a teenager, Josh was very involved
in his church youth group and participated in mission trips and other activities
with them. In high school, Josh excelled at football, making the varsity team as
a freshman and started his sophomore year as a defensive/offensive lineman. Josh
was named all-city newcomer of the year and was named to the All-City and All-District
teams his last three years of high school. Upon graduation, Josh attended the University
of Central Arkansas on a theatre and football scholarship. Unfortunately, Josh injured
his ankle and then transferred to Texas Tech University for a year, during which
he was heavily involved in theatre. In his spare time, Josh enjoys church activities,
working out, reading, and watching movies (his favorite, of course, is Superman).
At 6'2"and 235 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, his dream was to one
day be Superman on the big screen. |
